Techtronic

Techtronic sells white goods (washing machines, refrigerators, ovens, etc.). The data comes from a provider who aggregates and prepares it in a CSV. The original store ran on an outdated and very expensive system that no longer had any support. The task was to replace this old store with a new solution.

As a first step, we moved the old store to an old virtualized environment, which only costs a fraction of the current hosting costs. It will continue to run there for a while until it is finally shut down completely.

The implementation was carried out with Woocommerce. As Techtronic has different conditions with each supplier, the standard prices still have to be compared with the prices in order to arrive at the Techtronic sales price. To do this, we have expanded our own existing product manager so that products can be imported from a CSV, compared with the corresponding price conditions and finally played out on the WooCommerce store.

In order to manage the almost 4000 products smartly, Wundernetz has made various adjustments that support the store manager in his work. There is also a link to the Swiss price search engine “Toppreise”.
